This is a good gun.Jan 13, 2007 This is over all a good deal and it hits hard. But it is not the most accurate gun. I recommend a special barrel.

I bought this at [...] on Amazon.com!May 16, 2006 I was lucky enough to buy 1 of the last 2 Tippmann 98 Custom Power Packs here on Amazon.com for only [...]! The very next day, it went right back up to almost [...]. Retardedly, I ordered this with 2-Day Shipping, so it came out to [...]... I basically would have been better off buying this at the local Sports and Outdoors store, but I saved a few bucks on here.
The point is, this is an absolutly awisome gun! Tippmanns are fully customizable, IF you know everything about them. I've ordered more than [...] worth of upgrades for this gun;
- Psychoballistics On/Off Z Drop Forward
- 14" Dye Ultralite 2-Piece Barrel
- M98 Low Pressure Kit
- Nitro Duck Plasma Low Pressure N2 Tank - 45ci/4500
- Ricochet 2KX LED Paintball Loader
- Response Double Trigger Upgrade
- Anodized - Silver+Blue->Black Fade
Now this gun is able to take on Professional and Top Grade Paintball Markers out there today! There are SO MANY MORE upgrades you can go out and buy for the Tippmann 98 Custom (or with the Model 98, and A-5). They're like Honda's... ALOT of customizable features, for a cheap price, and that'll last you a lifetime... but you have to take care of it. Oil and lube parts before using it, clean everything after using it, and protect everything when you're not using it!
The only thing I don't really like is the package it came with (9oz CO2 Tank, Tank Butt Plate, and Mask)... but there were no problems with them. They were great to use until I bought all my new gear. I was just hoping to get a 16oz or 20oz Tank with a better mask. But what this gun comes with won't make you complain one bit!

Go to a Paintball Store where you live, and test everythign out before you buy it! There's plenty of people who will tell you this gun as awisome... but there's also those idiots who say they don't like it, but thats only because they treat thier gun like [...], and they don't take care of it the way you're supposed to! Either that, or they don't know jack about Paintball Markers!
Go read a few more reviews, look for cheaper prices, and THEN make your decision. The cheapest you'll find a Tippmann online with the Power Pack is on here on Amazon... unless you go to Ebay. But be careful with Ebay, you'll never be too sure if you're gun is NEW even though it may say it (it's either stolen, or it's garenteed NOT to be new, they just clean it and make it LOOK new!)
