A good gun...for kids to play with.Mar 11, 2010 Well...I was new to airsoft when I bought this and wanted an inexpensive gun just to play with and see how I liked the sport. I read some reviews on it and watched a couple videos on youtube for this particular gun and now I wish I kept looking. It's a fun gun to use if the other team only has pistols! The reload time is ridiculous because it takes forever and spare clips are like $7 each!! It's not worth it to me because the clips run out very fast if using full auto. It has plastic gears, so it is a very loud gun and so there's no sneaking or hiding with it. Everyone can hear it firing all over the playing field. The screws holding my red dot sight broke off and now I'll never find them to fix the sight..so it's basicly worthless now. There's no use in even setting the sights on the scope or red dot because it has no accuracy. Bullets just spray in random directions. The "speed loader" for this gun, (Which has to be used or else loading it is a pain) is too long and isn't easily carried without it falling out of your pockets or something.
The saying is "You get what you pay for" but I believe this gun should pffer a little more than it does performance wise. A $40 spring set I bought from wal mart with a rifle and pistol both have better fps than this gun, and both hurt a lot more. I play with friends with 300-400fps guns. Of course I didnt expect this gun to even scratch thiers, but why do the cheapo all plastic spring guns from wal mart beat this gun? Shouldnt airsoft bullets at least feel like a bee sting when they hit you????? This gun doesnt even hurt at all. And lastly, the strap gets in your way, so it's useless. But if you're a parent and have a kid bugging you for an airsoft gun, try this one out. Trust me, they have no risk of getting hurt with this gun. It does come with safety goggles. But the one perk I will give this gun over my friends' 300-400 fps guns is that it's battery outlasts all of theirs. Then again its very weak strength could be why. If you're under 12 or so, yeah you'll like this gun. If you're like me and want a cheap gun just to start out with and see how you like airsoft, keep looking. Don't get dissapointed like I did.
UMMMMMM?Mar 05, 2010 I ordered this gun 8 days ago. I PAID for shipping for 3-5 days. Its been 10 days if you count Saturday and Sunday. I was going to go airsofting with my friends but now I can`t because I haven't received it. So i cant go now and i`d like to get just return it back and get a better gun. I`ve heard good things about this gun so i`d say quality of product is 5 stars but quality of seller equals NO stars.

review for double eagle m85pFeb 20, 2010 When i ordered this gun, i really couldn't wait but the only really bad thing with this was the shipping. fed-ex has a horrible shipping period. then when i got this it was entirely made of ABS plastic. this gun is good for beginners but if u just want a $40 gun then this is it. it does not hurt when shot. ( i shot my arm from point blank and no welt.) but this gun is good if you just got into air soft and want a mini backyard war. also the clip holds very little. but the scope and flash light is really cool but also cheap. but i would give this 1 1/2 stars
