Great purchaseJul 28, 2010 Awesome barrel, dialed down to around 265 fps, and I get a very noticeable improvement in range and accuracy!

Flatline feverMar 28, 2010 I have owned and used flatline barrels on several of my guns over the years. My first was for my model 98 when they first developed the system. I was impressed with the first one and haven't lost that with all off the newer versions.
You have the advantage on the field of a further reach with your paintballs. In woodsball they have almost become the standard to level the playing field. The A5 flatline was a great inprovement over the one for the 98. It was easier to install and was compact. The X7 version is sturdy, easy to install and looks really cool as well.
One warning though. You must use paint that is in good shape. Don't try last years paint out of the closet. If your paint is misshapen or dimpled, use a straight barrel. The paint needs to take the stress of rolling down this barrel to gather it's back spin. This is stressfull to the paint shell and old paint will bust. All Flatlines are harder to clean after a break so use good paint.
AWESOMEMar 16, 2010 This barrel is amazing, easy to install, looks great, and gives about 150feet of range!!!!, package came very quick and well sealed, i recommend this barrel to anyone who wants to pop someone from a good comfortable distance....

the winning partJul 15, 2007 the Flatline barrel is one of the three key parts that will make the X7 a speedball marker, its excellent and wonderful. Right now its my marker of choice when it comes to speedball 3-man or 5-man format.
