Faulty Air TankMar 26, 2010 The package arrived very quickly, and at first I was very pleased. When I went to get the HPA filled though, the gauge wasn't working. I had the gauge replaced, and the tank still read nothing, even though there was almost 3000 PSI in the tank. When I called in to report the problem, they didn't answer the phone ANY of the 7 times I called them over the 5 day return period. I have just had to deal with the faulty tank since.
The shipper earned another bad mark when I found the battery expired 3 years ago.
The marker works fine, and although the extras are cheap, they do their job well enough.
For this reason, I give this a 2, because the marker is great, but the company cost me 60 dollars in repairs. I hope I just had bad luck and this happens to no one else.
I will be buying at the pro shop next time, not online. They even gave me a refund on my air fills I couldn't use in the faulty tank.
*Note*
The Ion's manufacturer, Smart Parts, recently went out of business. This means no replacement parts or warranties, so buy a different marker (perhaps the proto SLG?).
My First MarkerSep 24, 2009 I must Admit..This is an awesome marker for any begginner and for the price but this marker can still be upgraded...... for example i bought virtue eyes the virtue board a different barrel and i tear holes in the guys with the expensive markers...As i said A good starting marker
